The Stale Smell of Coffee

The stale smell of coffee fills up my nostrils

I want to move it away from me

But my energy is limited,

I stare at it,

Wishing that with the power of my mind it could be levitated.

I lie here wishing,

Wishing I felt differently,

Wishing this would be over by now.

I know that only time and a lot of dedication will bring my mood back up.

I have time now,

I lack dedication.

So instead, I lie here and stare at it

As I inhale the stale smell of coffee.
