Some lessons take a bit longer to be learned

Some lessons take a bit longer to be learned than others.

Despite knowing that

I carry on impatiently,

Feeling as if I am about to explode.

I want to stop.

I am learning how to be true inside out,

I am learning how to speak up,

How to stand up for myself without having to break things and hearts,

I am learning to keep it real.

When you are incapable of loving and appreciation yourself

It makes it nearly impossible to feel that for others.
