You cannot consider yourself a writer if you don’t write more than just text messages. You cannot become a good enough writer if you don’t practise the craft on a regular basis.

There are many things I wish to be good enough at, writing being one of them. So here I am, starting this blog to explore my writing skills. I guess, so far, I use the same style of writing for all the writing I do, just by changing the tune a bit: formal or informal.

My goal is to practise different types of writing with different structures: news style articles, reviews, personal/reflective writing...

FEEDBACK is always welcome but please keep it constructive, there is no point telling me you don’t like the position I chose to take on an argument. I need constructive criticism on the writing skill itself. Was it effective? Was it appropriate to the medium I was supposed to write for?

All of the writing contained here is my own but inevitably I will make references to things I’m and have been exposed to in the past, I will reference everything I say that doesn’t belong to me. Where I fail to do so is because of human error or perhaps they are ideas/thoughts mishmashed with my own making separation difficult to me when absorbed and involved in the writing process. So please, my kind reader, feel free to point out if a reference is perhaps missing.

Why I write:

There is always some confusion around, or within, us. So I write in search of clarity and contentment. I write in order to generate ideas, in order to try to make sense of the information I have been exposed to. I write and publish it here in order to feel as if I'm talking to someone else instead of just writing to myself. It's much harder to notice flaws in thinking without others to reflect back at us.
